Legendary mixed martial artist Anderson Silva commented on the announcement of the duel with the blogger Jake Paulscheduled for October 29 in Phoenix.

ā€œI know that everything in life has a purpose. Nothing just happens. Therefore, I am grateful to God, my team and family for the fact that I have such an opportunity to continue doing what I love.

I am sure that our duel will become the main event of the year in combat sports and will go down in history forever. See you on October 29, ā€said the Brazilian.

Recall that after the end of his career in MMA, 47-year-old Silva has already managed to fight two fights in professional boxing. The Brazilian won a split decision against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and in the last performance he knocked out Tito Ortiz.
