Ruiz Ortiz rescheduled for September 4

duel between Andy Ruiz and Luis Ortiz will be rescheduled for September 4, according to BoxingScene.com. Prior to this, the fight was scheduled for August 13 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The venue for the rescheduled heavyweight bout has yet to be announced. Ruiz also confirmed the new fight date during one of his last interviews in Mexico City.

Representatives from Premier Boxing Champions have not yet responded to a request for clarification, although it is also PBC policy not to discuss fights that have not yet been officially announced. Ortiz's team declined to comment or give any information about the date change, though one of his sparring partners said the Cuban heavyweight is training like he's still fighting on August 13 until he hears otherwise.
