It is reported that after the weigh-in, the parties had disagreements with the choice of gloves, but they were resolved. Inoue's team allegedly demanded that Donaire choose a different pair instead of the one he had originally settled on, and the Filipino responded by pointing out that all the gloves the Japanese inspected were not sealed. Inoue will wear blue and orange Everlasts, Donaire will wear black Reyes.
