Sergey Kovalev (34-4-1, 29 KOs) said he was ready to fight Jake Paul (5-0, 4 KOs). On May 14, at a gala evening in Inglewood, a boxer from Russia will make his debut in the first heavyweight division.
“I want to go through the first fight in the new weight, and then I can box with everyone. I can fight Jake Paul and knock him out with pleasure,” Crusher said.
Paul is expected to return to the ring in August and will most likely face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The fight will take place in the first heavyweight division. Recently, Mairis Briedis also unsuccessfully tried to challenge Jake Paul to a duel.
Kovalev in his debut performance in cruiserweight will meet with Tervel Pulev (16-0, 13 KOs). The Russian has not entered the ring for more than two years.
