The Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) has announced its 2021 award winners. Unified Super Middleweight Champion named Boxer of the Year Saul Alvarez.
The third fight for the WBC heavyweight belt between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder was voted fight of the year. Alvarez's mentor Eddie Reynoso won Coach and Manager of the Year.
In addition, three special awards were presented: Michael Buffer (Long and Distinguished Service), David Diamante (Good Guy) and Vladimir Klichki (Courage Award).
