Klitschko: "We are fighting for our right to freedom"

Former World Heavyweight Champion Vladimir Klichko in an interview, CNN turned to the citizens of the Russian Federation and tried to explain what is happening in Ukraine and Kyiv due to the Russian military ...

“They have to see it. They should know that their president's policies are aggression. Innocent people are dying. The truth is on our side, and we are fighting for our right to freedom,” Vladimir said.

“During this conversation, innocent women, children and civilians will be subjected to bombardments, rockets and the terrible reality of war. People say that this is the biggest fight in my life, and I agree - it's so sad to realize how terrible this war is. That is why I ask everyone to support our campaign and act now in any way to support Ukraine.”

“Isolating Russia from all sports is not an act of malice. We are doing this to stop the war in the name of peace. I have nothing personal against athletes, but I have a lot against the aggression of Russian leader Putin and his military machine. We believe that sanctions at various levels, including sports, are extremely important. Take away sports competitions and athletes will ask their leader: “Why is no one competing with us?” I repeat, this is not against athletes, this is in the name of peace in Ukraine,” Vladimir Klitschko added.
