Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping expressed the opinion that Jose Aldo able to defeat Petr Yan in a possible revenge.
“Last year, Aldo fought with Jan for the title on Fight Island, and then everything turned out not in his favor. Every fight is different. In the first fight I lost to Luke Rockhold, but in the rematch I knocked him out in the first round. So there is no reason Aldo cannot beat Ian and he wants to.
"Jose is aiming for a belt in the bantamweight division. That could make him one of the greatest fighters in history,” Bisping stated on his YouTube channel.
The first fight between Yan and Aldo took place in July 2020 and ended with the victory of the Russian by TKO in the fourth round.
