"I have nothing to prove, I'm mentally very calm and I'm surrounded by great people. It's about redemption, retribution and revenge," said Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) ahead of Saturday's fight against Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs).

"Since the first day after the previous fight, I've been preparing for this moment. I started right away and didn't stop for a minute. I think everything that happened has only benefited me. We stuck together and worked hard. Some people thought I was depressed, but I dedicated myself to training every day and the perfect preparation just came to an end. This time it's going to be different. After what happened recently, I noticed some things I hadn't seen before, and by the way, I became even hungrier and more determined. It's been a blessing in disguise," Bronze Bomber continued.

"I have nothing to lose, I can only win. Your legacy only dies when your lust for victory dies. I really can only win, and that's why I'm so dangerous. Fury, get ready for war, I'll be out for blood on Saturday and I'm looking forward to this fight," added Wilder, who defended the WBC belt ten times up until his loss twenty months ago. In a few dozen hours, Wilder will have a chance to regain his title.

"I study the game called boxing very closely. Deontay used to control the super heavyweight with one or two weapons, but now his arsenal is much bigger. Since I'm with him, I can see that he has a lot of other options and solutions, he can really do a lot more than he showed before. Unfortunately, at one point he was limited to knocking people out with only one weapon. So I went into his toolbox and took some things out of it, but that's not news to him, he already knew that, it just all went down a little bit," said Malik Scott, once Wilder's opponent and now his new trainer.
