Despite the fact that the idea of a fight between former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KO) and blogger-boxer Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KO) seems absurd, there are more and more signs that it may eventually come to fruition.
The latest sign of this was a short video with Paul, posted on the profile of Most Valuable Promotions, captioned “Jake and Joshua 5 years later.” The video starts with a close-up of Paul (presumably from 2020), watching the fight of AJ. Then we see the American (now in his prime) stating that he wants to “whip Joshua’s ass” and will do so despite bookmakers’ predictions.
Anthony Joshua’s last fight took place in September last year, when he lost by knockout to Daniel Dubois. Jake Paul’s biggest successes in boxing to date are victories over 58-year-old Mike Tyson and the shadow of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
