Russian mixed martial arts fighter Magomed Ismailov commented on Alexander Emelianenko's desire to fight his older brother Fedor.

"There are times when a person says something through a grudge. He says he would fight, but he wouldn't do it himself. Before that, he said he wanted to spend time with Fedor, but there was no response to that. Maybe that's why he said so - to see him or hear him.

The duel didn't happen, though. It's not like he was offered such a confrontation and he didn't sign a contract. He just said it. A man in anger or resentment can say something wrong, even though he himself would not have done so. It doesn't matter what your older brother did to you, how he did it, how wrong he was towards you - you can't afford to fight him, much less for the amusement of the public. There is simply no such right. Let's hope that those words were said out of resentment and not for real," Ismailov said.

Ismailov's next fight will be against Vladimir Mineyev on October 16.
