Charr knocks Lovejoy out in the second round

WBA Heavyweight Champion 'in recess' Mahmoud Charr (32-4, 18 KOs) ckocked previously undefeated Christopher Lovejoy (19-1, 19 KOs) in the first round on Saturday night at Sportstudio Baaden in Cologne, Germany. In his first appearance in the ring since 2017, Charr sent the 300-pound Lovejoy to the floor with a flurry of punches in the second round, and referee Jurgen Langos stopped the fight at 1:09.
