At the Staples Center arena in Los Angeles, California, the show fight between two legendary boxers, 54-year-old Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) and 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr. (66-9, 47 KOs) was controversial assessed by the judges as a draw. Most of the spectators felt that Mike Tyson was better than Roy Jones in this fight. At the same time, Christie Martin rated the meeting 76-76, Chad Dawson preferred Tyson 79-73, and Vinnie Pazienza saw Jones wining 80-76.
