Nurmagomedov on the role of Fedor Emelianenko in MMA

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father and trainer of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov gave a credit to Fedor Emelianenko for the development of MMA in the world. In particular, Abdulmanap said that Fedor made for the MMA in Russia more than anyone else did.

"The Last Emperor has done for the Russian MMA more than anyone did. He made MMA sport from the fights without rules. For that I am grateful."
