Lomachenko: I want to go down in history, and businessmen may make money

The world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko (12-1, 9 KOs) stated that he was not chasing after big money, but just wanted to write his name in boxing history.

“Between fights, I train once a day and do it three times a week. Easy jogging on the beach, doing some kind of exercise, working on cardio, like any ordinary person in the gym. Of course, not all boxers use their heads, but the best in the world definitely use thinking during the fight and preparing for it. In this aspect, I would single out Terence Crawford and Saul Alvarez.

“By special fighters, I mean very technical guys with high boxing IQ. Boxing is a big business, but it all depends on who you want to be in this sport. If you want to become a businessman, please bet on making money, if you want to be an athlete, a real champion and leave your name in history, you do your job as a fighter. I personally want to become part of the history,” Lomachenko said.
