UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will fight after disqualification not earlier than in the autumn of 2019. This was reported by Nurmagomedov’s manager Rizvan Magomedov.

On Tuesday, Nurmagomedov was disqualified for nine months for a brawl after a fight for UFC lightweight belt with Conor McGregor. The term of disqualification, which starts on October 6, 2018, could be reduced by three months if the fighter took part in social advertising, but Nurmagomedov refused. The fighters of Zubaira Tukhugov and Abubakar Nurmagomedov, who also took part in the brawl, were disqualified for a year and fined for $25 thousand each.

“Khabib will return at about the same time as Zubaira Tuhugov and Abubakar Nurmagomedov. Not earlier,” said Magomedov.
