Price vs Kuzmin is official

On September 22 at the boxing evening at Wembley Stadium former heavyweight contender David Price (22- 5, 18 KOs) will return to the ring. The opponent of the British is the Russian Sergey Kuzmin (12-0, 9 KOs). The fight was officially confirmed by Eddie Hearn, the organizer of the event.

The 35-year-old Englishman last appeared in the ring in March, when he lost by knockout to Alexander Povetkin. Price’s return was scheduled for October, but his opponent Sean Turner refused to meet him because of injury, and the boxer from Liverpool accepted the offer to fight Kuzmin.

In the main event in the boxing evening in London Povetkin will face Anthony Joshua. WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight title titles will be at stake.
