Eleider Alvarez: Fights with Bivol and Stevenson are possible, Beterbiev is off the target

Eleider Alvarez

Colombian Eleider Alvarez said that a unification fight with WBC champion Adonis Stephenson or WBA champion Dmitry Bivol is quite realistic, but the fight with the IBF champion Arthur Beterbiev will not take place.

"I think that out of the other three champions the fight with Bivol is the most likely, and then the fight with Stevenson. Meeting with Beterbiev is not yet expected, since we have one coach, and we often train together. Stevenson is already on the decline, he was very tired in a fight with Bad Jack. Therefore, I would do the same thing in the fight with Kovalev. I moved a lot to slow him down, and if there is a chance, I could knock him out. With Bivol there will be more strategy because of his youth, speed and technique. But I noticed some of his flaws in the later rounds of the fight with Cilemba, so I can knock Bivol out.

“Beterbiev is physically strong, so I would use a jab, and outbox him in a twelve-round fight. In the rematch with Kovalev I will win even more convincingly. But I'm ready to fight anyone, be it Bivol, Stevenson, Beterbiev or Kovalev," said Alvarez.
