Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder acknowledges that he will watch a unification match between two unbeaten champions Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker who will collide today, on March 31, in Cardiff, Wales. Most of all Wilder will be interested in whether Joshua will call him to fight after the victory over Parker, although the American himself is sure that they will not meet in the nearest future.

"The audience wants to hear what the boxers say, not the promoters," Wilder said. "In general, this entire situation is becoming simply ridiculous. I do not think that I will have to go through this in order to get a unification bout, and just give the audience what they want. Talking about our meeting with Joshua interests people much more than his meeting with Parker, and the entire card in Cardiff."

"I want Anthony to tell the truth in the ring. So that he says that he doesn't want to fight me. It's true that he does not want to meet me right now. But what's next? We will see. I will be like everyone else - sitting and waiting to hear my name. I'll stay at home and think like everyone else: will he say anything about Wilder? That's the question," Wilder added.
