Joshua and Takam make weight

Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs) and Carlos Takam (35-3-1, 27 KO) underwent an official weighing procedure. On the scales Joshua showed a career record mark of 115.2 kilos. Takam’s weight was 106.8 kilos. Before that Anthony showed his maximum weight in advance of April meeting with Wladimir Klitschko - 113.4 kg. Four years ago, before his pro debut, Joshua weighed 104.6 kg.

The 12-round Joshua vs Takam meeting with IBF, IBO and WBA heavyweight titles at stake will become the main event of the evening on October 28 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, UK, where about 78,000 spectators are expected.

Takam agreed for this fight on 12 days notice after the former Joshua’s opponent, Kubrat Pulev, got injured. Bookmakers consider Joshua as the undisputed favorite of the fight, the bets on him are accepted 1 to 50.
