German boxer Marco Huck was well prepared for a fight with Ukrainian Alexander Usyk, but could not stand the speed of the opponent. This opinion in Instagram was expressed by the Russian boxer IBF cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev.
Usyk beat Huck via technical knockout in the 10th round of the fight, which was part of the World Boxing Super Series. Ukrainian athlete proceeded to the semifinals of the tournament, and also defended his World Boxing Organization (WBO) title.
“Usyk and Huck fought a great fight. Huck was ready, but his prime is in the past. He wasn't able to manage Usyk's speed. Usyk was good. His movement, changing directions and speed were top-notch. He's a very tough opponent for everyone,” said Gassiev.
IBF cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev will face former world champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk of Poland on October 21 in Newark, USA, New Jersey.
