Deontay Wilder has won his civil case against Alexander Povetkin. The jury in U.S. federal court in New York, which deliberated for 32 minutes on Monday morning, found that Povetkin used meldonium after it was put on the WADA banned list on Jan. 1, 2016, which caused their fight to be canceled last May. Wilder's side now likely will get the $4.5 million that was placed in escrow before the fight. Povetkin's side, of course, can appeal.
