UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has responded to a question about a potential bout with Magomed Ankalaev.
The Brazilian will make a title defense against Jamal Hill in the main event of UFC 300 in Las Vegas, USA on April 13. After that, "Poatan" plans to return to the octagon three weeks later on May 4 at the UFC 301 show in Rio de Janeiro.
"I will fight at UFC 301, but it's a question for the organization - who will be my opponent. Of course, it's difficult for any fighter to accept a fight three weeks before the tournament. I might have to postpone my next fight for two or three months. But I would like to step into the cage in May," Pereira told Shak MMA.
