"I know I'm the greatest fighter that ever lived. But when it came to the amount of neurological damage I had sustained, it became clear that I couldn't do it anymore. Suddenly everything I had accomplished no longer mattered.

After the second fight, when I saw that all these people who were the reason I came back to fight had suddenly turned against me, my appreciation turned to resentment. I just didn't want to do anything or have anything to do with them. I didn't want to do anything for them anymore because I gave everything I had," Rosey said in an interview with YouTube channel Valeria Lipovetsky.
