Chandler made an emphatic statement about the McGregor fight

UFC lightweightMichael Chandler has made an emphatic statement regarding a fight with the organization's former two-weight champion Conor McGregor. Chandler said that this fight will take place in the summer.

"I have an official announcement. It's going to happen this summer. I can't give you the exact date, but it's going to happen this summer! We have an agreement. This summer the fight will happen. He's starting to train. I'm starting to train. We're going to clash this summer and it's going to be a lot of fun," TMZ quoted Chandler as saying.

The bout between McGregor and Chandler was supposed to take place back last year when the fighters were coaches for another season of TUF. However, there is still no definite information regarding the date and venue of this confrontation.
