If UFC featherweight champion Alex Pereira manages to defeat Jamal Hill on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, USA, and avoid injury, he could return to the octagon in just 28 days. At least that's the information former fighter and analyst Josh Thomson has.
"I heard that if Alex Pereira gets past Jamal Hill at UFC 300 and comes out of the fight in one piece, he'll be on that card - that was part of the new contract he signed. If he gets the win and is healthy, he'll be on the UFC 301 show. That's also why he agreed to fight at UFC 300," Thomson said on the Weiging In podcast.
As a reminder, UFC 301 will take place on May 4 in Rio de Janeiro. The tournament still hasn't gotten a main event.
