Former UFC champion in two weight classes, now expert and commentator Daniel Cormier commented on Francis Ngannou 's early loss to Anthony Joshua in a boxing match.

"That was one of the hardest knockouts I've ever seen. Joshua did what he had to do, but for me it was frustrating to see a guy I consider a friend get sent down by a knockout like that.

Anthony came into the ring to set the stage from a boxing perspective. Reminds me of the way Randy Couture made James Toney give up, as if to say, "I'm not going to let these guys think like they can come in here and compete with us." And Joshua did the same thing with Ngannou.

On the other hand, Francis has made $30 million for two fights in boxing, so in that respect he's succeeded. But seeing him get knocked out was still sad," MMA Mania quoted Cormier as saying.
