Zhilei congratulated Parker on his victory

Chinese super heavyweight boxer Zhang Zhilei commented on his defeat to Joseph Parker. Zhang congratulated his opponent on the victory and said that they should definitely meet in the ring again.

"Congratulations Parker, you were the best that night. It's a pleasure to share the ring with you. We have to meet again but I'm glad we both came out of the ring healthy," stated the boxer.

The bout between Zhilei and Parker took place tonight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as part of an evening of boxing headlined by the Joshua vs. Ngannou fight. The fight went the full distance and ended with Parker winning by majority decision of the judges. It is worth noting that in the course of the fight Joseph was knocked down twice.
