UFC flyweight champion Sean O'Malley has commented on the news that Merab Dvalishvili has officially been named the reserve fighter for his upcoming bout with Marlon Vera.
"Am I ready to fight Dvalishvili if Vera withdraws from the fight? Yes, one hundred percent. Merab showed a great performance in the fight with Sehudo. Henry's performance wasn't great, but Merab did his job. He almost got knocked out, but then won. It looked impressive.
So Merab could very well be the next challenger. I like having a choice, but of course he could be next," - quotes the American MMA Fighting.
Recall, O'Malley and Vera will meet in the main event of UFC 299, which will be held on the night of March 10 in Miami, USA.
