"It's an interesting bout. Both are good in the stand-up, both are tough. Petr Yan is a friend of mine and I know what he can do. Stylistically it's not a bad fight for Petr. This fight will put Petr back in title contention. I'll support my friend, I think he'll be ready to go out there and do his thing. I think he will win by judges' decision," Volkanovski said in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
