Volkanovski wants immediate rematch with Topuria

Former UFC Featherweight Champion Alex Volkanovski expects to get an immediate rematch with Ilia Topuria, to whom he lost early in the main fight of UFC 298.

“I’m counting on an immediate rematch, but I don’t want to rush. I plan to rest, recover, and return to the Octagon no earlier than the end of this year. If Ilya wants to be active and defend his title before I get back, so be it. I will not mind. I know for sure that when we meet again, it will be a completely different fight. Mark my words - I will take back that championship belt! This time I won’t do it for my family, team or fans—I’ll do it for myself!”
