Belal Muhammad, the UFC's top welterweight, said he never received an offer to fight at the organization's 300th anniversary event.
“I was never offered a fight at UFC 300. But to be honest, I try to see the positive in everything. What did I hear? Three guys turned down a fight with Leon Edwards (welterweight champion - note). If the UFC really wanted Leon Edwards at UFC 300, they know the guy who would say yes, and it would be me,” Muhammad said on The Schmozone.
Let us remind you that the UFC 300 tournament will take place on the night of April 14 in Las Vegas. This event will be headlined by the fight between Alex Pereira and Jamal Hill.
