Colby Covington, a former contender for the UFC welterweight title, spoke about a possible fight with a top welterweight Shavkat Rakhmonov.

“I was not offered any fights, neither with Rakhmonov nor with anyone else. Explain how they can offer me a fight if I am still wearing an orthopedic boot? I can’t think about fighting until I’m 100% recovered. At the moment I am about 60% healthy. How can the UFC offer me a fight if they know about my situation and are paying for me the best medical treatment they can get? So no, I was not offered any fights - this is fake information. Now I can’t walk or exercise.”
