Cormier explained why Pereira is in no hurry to fight Ankalaev

Daniel Cormier, a former two-division UFC champion, explained why the organization's current light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is in no hurry to fight with Magomed Ankalaev.

“Pereira said straight out: 'I want to fight Jamal Hill.' He doesn’t want to have anything to do with Magomed Ankalaev. Because if you evaluate the situation, Ankalaev seems to be the most dangerous opponent for Pereira. He could have moved the Brazilian to the ground, especially after Jiri Prochazka successfully did this,” DC said.
