Wilder's trainer speaks out about fight with Zhang

Trainer Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) Malik Scott commented in an interview with ES NEWS on reports about the appearance of the “Bronze Bomber” at a March boxing evening in Saudi Arabia, where he was supposed to meet Zhang Zhilei (26-1-1, 21 KOs).

“Yeah, we'll probably be back at the Joshua-Ngannou night. It’s no secret who Deontay is paired with and what his name is, but we’ll see. Nothing has been confirmed or signed yet. The most important thing is for Deontay to be active,” Scott said.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Zhang's coach Sean George said that his boxer had already signed a contract for a fight with Wilder and was now waiting for the American's signature.
