"You won't get a title chance!" Du Plessis replied to Chimaev

Dricus du Plessis, a contender for the UFC middleweight championship belt, responded Khamzat Chimaev, who recently announced that he will meet the winner of the Strickland-du Plessis fight.

“As far as I know, Khamzat is a welterweight. Which middleweight did he fight with? In my opinion, this fight makes no sense. UFC promised him a title fight? How is this even possible? And he says he will fight Sean Strickland. No, this will not happen. I will be the champion, and you will not get a title chance!” the fighter said.

Let us remind you that Strickland’s confrontation with du Plessis will take place on January 21 and will headline UFC 297.
