Volkanovski commented on Covington's defeat in the fight with Edwards

Alex Volkanovski, UFC featherweight champion, commented on Colby Covington's defeat in his fight with Leon Edwards. Alex noted that Colby was so helpless in this confrontation that he couldn’t even really hit Leon.

“A lot of people were waiting to see Edwards knock out Covington, but a loss like this could be more painful for Colby. Covington couldn't do anything in this fight. He wasn’t even able to hit...,” Volkanovski said.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between Covington and Edwards took place as part of the main event of UFC 296, ending with Leon’s victory by unanimous decision.
