Wilder named his main career goal

Former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder stated that before his retirement from the sport he hopes to unite all the titles in the division in his hands.

“My goal has always been to unify the belts, but I was never given those opportunities. Many champions held the remaining titles, but as soon as it came to the fight with Wilder, they immediately moved in a different direction. They gave other boxers chances, but not me. So for these special reasons I have never had such an experience.

But unifying the titles is still my goal before I retire. I just have to do my job, move on this path,” Wilder said in an interview with Fight Hub TV.

Let us remind you that on December 23 in Riyadh, 38-year-old Wilder will share the ring with Joseph Parker.
