Joshua commented on the change of coach before the fight with Wallin

Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua told why to fight against Otto Wallina preparing under the guidance of a former coach Tyson Fury Ben Davison, not his mentor Derrick James.

“I’m just working with Davison. Of course, I am based in the USA for most of my training camp. When I return to the UK, instead of working on my own in a gym with a heavy bag and making a hell of a lot of mistakes, I find it better to train with a mentor to sharpen my tools.

It's funny, but I didn't think about Davison beating Wallin along with Tyson Fury. You brought to my attention that he worked with Fury when he fought Otto, and now he trains me. It's just crazy how it all worked out. The fight with Wallin came up a few weeks ago, and Davison and I have been working for several months now. So we still worked together,” Joshua said in an interview with TNT Sports Boxing.

The fight between Joshua and Wallin will take place on December 23 in Riyadh.
