Tallison Teixeira (nicknamed "Xicão") is a Brazilian mixed martial artist competing in the UFC's heavyweight division. Born December 7, 1999, in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, he began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu at age eight and earned multiple state and national junior titles. While initially aspiring to a jiu-jitsu career, he transitioned to MMA in São José do Rio Preto, adding Muay Thai and kickboxing to his skill set under the guidance of coach Laudelino “Lino” Barros.
He turned professional in October 2021 and compiled an 8–0 record before entering Dana White's Contender Series in September 2024, where a first-round knockout secured his UFC contract. Teixeira made a striking UFC debut in February 2025 at UFC 312, earning a Performance of the Night bonus after knocking out Justin Tafa with an elbow in just 35 seconds—a finish recognized by veteran commentator Daniel Cormier for its brutality and speed.
Standing 6’7″ with an 83″ reach, Teixeira leverages his size and power to deliver early finishes; none of his fights have gone beyond the first round. As of mid-2025, he ranked among the UFC’s top 15 heavyweights and is scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night in July 2025 against former title challenger Derrick Lewis, continuing his ascent as one of the division’s most promising young contenders.
