At the age of thirty-five Rocky Fielding (30-3, 18 KOs), former super middleweight world champion, announced his retirement. In fairness, it should be noted that the boxer from Liverpool actually owned a secondary WBA "regular" champion belt. He got it thanks to an away win over Tyrone Tsoige (TKO 5), but lost it in the first defense to Saul Alvarez.
