Former World Light Heavyweight Champion Jurgen Bremer (52-3, 38 KOs) is considering returning to the ring. This is reported by the German tabloid Bild. The last time the 44-year-old boxer fought was in December 2019, winning ahead of schedule against Jürgen Doberstein.

According to the organizers of World Boxing Super Series, the final in the super middleweight division will be on June 2 in London at the famous O2 Arena. On 17 and 24 February the semi-finals of the tournament will take place, in which three British will take part - Chris Eubank Jr., George Groves and Callum Smith - as well as the German Jurgen Brahmer.

The semifinal bout in the super middleweights in the World Boxing Super Series between 27-year-old Englishman Callum Smith (23-0, 17 KOs) and 39-year-old German Jürgen Bremer (49-3, 35 KOs) will be on February 24 in Nuremberg, Germany. Callum Smith stated that he does not see any problems in taking a fight in the enemy's territory.

German veteran Jurgen Braehmer (49-3, 35 KOs) won a convincing victory by unanimous decision over the previously undefeated prospect from the US Rob Brant (22-1, 15 KOs) and received the status of official contender for the WBC title in the super middleweight division. This was the main event of the evening in Braehmer’s native Schwerin, Germany. The judicial scores are: 119-109, 118-110 and 116-112.
