WBO and WBC nominate joint mandatory challenger for unified world super bantamweight champion Stephen Fulton (20-0, 8 KOs). In his next fight, the 27-year-old boxer will have to cross gloves with Daniel Roman (29-3-1, 10 KOs).
WBA super bantamweight champion Daniel Roman (24-2-1, 9 KOs) in a spectacular battle scored a unanimous decision over the previously undefeated Moises Flores (25-1, 17 KO), who lost the chance to win the title at the weigh-in the day before because of 1 extra pound. Roman and Flores exchanged heavy blows in the center of the ring, but no one could hurt each other. The scores were: 116-112, 118-110, 120-108.
