Nate Diaz says he has no interest in revisiting his rivalry with Conor McGregor in 2026, revealing that he passed on the idea of a trilogy bout with the former two-division UFC champion.
Speaking on Theo Von’s YouTube channel, Diaz said he would rather face Charles Oliveira than take a third fight with McGregor at this stage of the Irish star’s career.
“They wanted me to fight Conor McGregor right now... I want to fight Charles Oliveira. I want to fight the best of the best when they’re at their best. Conor is great, but I’m not trying to finish off Conor when he’s in his final days,” Diaz said.
Diaz and McGregor fought twice in the UFC, with the rivalry currently tied 1-1.
