Former UFC champion in two weight categories Daniel Cormier commented on the promotion's decision not to include former opponent DC, also a double champion Jon Jones, in the card of the tournament at the White House.

“I felt sorry for Jon because it seemed like he really wanted to fight at the tournament. Jon looked depressed. I think it was a kind of moment of enlightenment for him,” Bloody Elbow quotes Cormier as saying.
