Ngannou's fight against Brazilian Felipe Lins will be the second most important event of the evening. The event is scheduled for May 16 at the modern Intuit Dome arena in Inglewood. The broadcast will be available exclusively on the Netflix streaming platform worldwide.

For Ngannou, this will be his first appearance in the cage since October 2024, when he knocked out Renan Ferreira and claimed the PFL heavyweight title. In early March, the Cameroonian ended relations with the PFL and became a free agent, paving the way for a new stage in his career.

Ngannou's opponent, 40-year-old Felipe Lins, has an impressive record — 18 wins and 5 losses. The Brazilian won the 2018 PFL heavyweight tournament and had a four-fight winning streak in the UFC from 2022 to 2024. He last fought in March 2024.

The MVP organizers, including Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, emphasize the historic nature of the event. They call Ngannou "unquestionably the best heavyweight on the planet" and note that the combination of his power with Lins' experience promises a real spectacle for knockout enthusiasts. The main fight of the evening remains the long-awaited return of Ronda Rousey against Gina Carano — a legendary confrontation between the pioneers of women's MMA.
