Alan Nascimento, the coach of Khamzat Chimaev, does not consider his protégé Russian.

"We have heard many talks about Russians not being allowed to fight at the White House, but in any case, he is not a Russian fighter. People forget this. He has always represented Sweden, and now he represents the UAE.

He has a UAE passport. He is a UAE resident. He has a house here. He has everything here. He speaks English. So I think he should not have any difficulties fighting at the White House. Nevertheless, political questions and decisions remain with those who have the appropriate authority," said Nascimento in an interview with MMA Today.
