Cormier concerned about the crisis in American MMA

Daniel Cormier, former UFC champion in two divisions, is concerned about the crisis in American MMA.

"The heavyweight division is not dead because Tom Aspinall is a real beast. I think Ciryl Gane also proved in his last fight that there is serious competition for Aspinall in this division. Jon Jones is still around somewhere. I know many think he's finished, but he's still present and staying nearby. But the heavyweight division will always be fine because heavyweight fights are interesting in themselves - people don't need much to stay interested.

The main problem is the Americans. Because not only do we not have a single American in the top 10 heavyweights - we don't have a single American in the top ten pound-for-pound fighters at all"
