Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya responded to a question about the end of his fighting career.
"I definitely have less than ten fights left. Who knows? I know there are less than ten. There cannot be more than ten. If I fight now, and then once more closer to the end of the year—that's already two fights. If I have two fights a year, then I can still compete next year. But as for 2028—I don't know yet. I can't see beyond 2027. I am not thinking that far ahead at the moment. I sometimes glance forward and just understand that I am on the home stretch. I have long seen the finish line in the distance, but now it has come closer," said Adesanya, answering fans' questions on his YouTube channel.
