Sean Brady, a ranked UFC welterweight, commented on the news that Shavkat Rakhmonov is sidelined for another year due to injury.

“Bro, he's done. I feel bad for Shavkat. He hasn't fought in a long time — since the end of 2024. And he won't compete until 2027. So how can he even come back? It's probably scary to go to training. I feel sorry for him. It's damn terrible,” Brady is quoted by MMAJunkie.
