John Jones shared his opinion on the future of Gable Steveson in the UFC.
“He is incredible. Just an incredible athlete and person. He is much more disciplined and dedicated than I was at his age, and that even scares me. I'm afraid for the future of the UFC. He will just dominate everyone. He will destroy opponents. I can easily imagine that by this time next year he will become a UFC champion. As soon as he signs a contract with the UFC, he will be unstoppable.
He knows how to strike, and I think that's his weak point right now. But his wrestling and grappling are just out of this world. His takedowns are unstoppable, and his ground-and-pound is very effective. He has an amazing sense of his body and understands position at any moment. He has it all. And when he truly figures things out, it will be just unfair to the rest,” said Jones in an interview with Helen Yee.
